It’s incredible; this place is a feast for my depraved senses. The last hours before Ecuador the landscape was already turning greener and we were going uphill quite a bit. The shades of green that appeared before me were overwhelming.
Today’s trip was breathtaking (and not because of the thin air). Stunning mountain passes and plateaus. We also saw a lot of wild animals. At 4300 metres altitude at a mountain lake we saw flamingos, we didn’t expect to see those there.
